Tom joined Castle Craig in 1997 and was a  Senior Therapist from 2001-2011. In 2011 he became Manager of the Castle Craig extended care unit. Tom has over 20 years experience in the field of addictions.

Tom's work in the field of addictions began at Riverside Regional Medical Centre in Virginia, United States in 1984. In conjunction with this he was employed as Programme Coordinator for the U.S. Army Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Programme at Fort Story, Virginia. Tom relocated to Scotland in 1996.
