An alcohol & drug rehab clinic

We provide a free transport service for patients throughout treatment. Our drivers make trips to Edinburgh and Peebles each day and so we are sometimes able to collect family members and visitors if the timings and locations coincide. If family members are accompanying patients to/from treatment then a free transfer for the group can be arranged. Please call one of our secretaries for more information.

Family Programme Attendees

Attendees to the Family Programme are welcome to be picked up on Friday and dropped off on Sunday with the Castle Craig minibus (please confirm your timings in advance with the secretaries).

Taxis

For other visitors, due to our rural location, we recommend that you arrive by car. If you don’t have your own car we can recommend the following local taxi companies:

• Biggar Taxi Company.  01899 220015. Special discounts for Castle Craig visitors: airport transfer £40 (normally £60).

• Greenlyne Taxi Company, West Linton.  07771 756 471.  Approx. £56 single to/from Edinburgh Airport.

• Border Cabs. 7 Bridgegate, Peebles.  01721 721 212 / 722 222.  Approx. £50 single to/from Edinburgh Airport.

Public Transport

Local buses do operate between Penicuik and Edinburgh, Peebles and Edinburgh, and West Linton and Edinburgh. For information on routes and times visit the Lothian Bus Journey Planner or call one of our secretaries for help.
