Family involvement is crucial to the outcome of treatment. The residential
family programme helps participants to understand how recovery for the whole
family takes place, discusses ways to respond to the sick family member
and how to 'detach' with compassion. Our programme director has supervised
residential family programmes for more than 25 years. The programme is facilitated
by our experienced family programme coordinator, Lee
Taylor, and other members of the team contribute to the lecture schedule.
Lectures, group therapy, group discussions and talks from invited speakers
will teach participants important and creative principles to apply when
engaging with those who are dependent.

We extend a warm invitation to family members to attend this residential
programme. It is held at The Lodges, Castle Craig and runs approximately
every six weeks, beginning on Saturday morning and concluding on Sunday
afternoon.
To enable us to run the programme on a regular basis we require confirmation
of the booking at least 14 days in advance of the actual date. For more
information please contact Marie McKechnie, administrator at Castle Craig,
on: +44 (0)1721 722763.
