Medical Team

The Medical Director

The Medical Director is a doctor specialised in addiction treatment who directs the treatment programme.

Consultant

The Consultant is a psychiatrist, specialised in the treatment of addictions. The consultant co-ordinates the medical/clinical care of the patient and the administration of all therapies.

Certified Addiction Therapists

Therapists have IC&RC accreditation, diplomas in addiction counselling and COSCA (Confederation of Scottish Counselling Agencies) accreditation.

Our experienced and professional team deliver core therapies including group and individual psychotherapies and family counselling.

Addiction Trained Nurses

Nurses are trained and experienced in supervising the detoxification of patients from alcohol and drugs and additionally can provide smoking cessation counselling. They provide nursing care for all the physical and mental health needs of patients.

Resident Doctor

A rota of resident medical officers ensures dedicated onsite medical cover 24 hours a day seven days a week. The doctors are responsible for the medical supervision of patients following admission and for the monitoring of detoxification therapy. They are immediately available to deal with any medical emergencies that arise.
