Outpatient Programme

Outpatient Treatment with CATCH Recovery

Tailored outpatient treatment programmes in-person or online.

CATCH Recovery is our London and Nottingham-based outpatient clinics, operating as an extension of the care provided by Castle Craig (continuing care). It offers outpatient programmes designed to support patients in their recovery journey once they have completed residential treatment or for those who may not require intensive inpatient care.

Who Would Benefit Most From Outpatient Care?

Outpatient programmes are particularly beneficial for people who:

  1. Do not require medical detoxification (such as people with cannabis use disorders).
  2. Have completed a residential treatment programme and are looking to continue their recovery with support.
  3. Have work or family commitments that prevent them from engaging in residential treatment.
  4. Have a stable living situation that is supportive of their recovery efforts.

Outpatient Addiction Treatment Offers:

Flexibility and Convenience

Outpatient rehab means patients can receive treatment without having to commit to a residential stay. This flexibility is helpful if you have work or family commitments that you can’t leave for an extended period. You can schedule therapy sessions around your daily routines, so you don’t fall behind on personal responsibilities.

Cost-Effectiveness

Outpatient rehab costs less than inpatient rehab because there is no residential stay involved and you don’t require 24-hour care, meaning the costs are significantly reduced. This makes it a more accessible option if you’re concerned about the cost of rehab.

Put Skills into Practice

Since outpatient rehab doesn’t involve a residential stay you can immediately apply the skills you learn to real-life situations. This exposure is great when it comes to maintaining long-term recovery, as it helps you learn to navigate triggers and everyday stressors.

Family Support

Outpatient programmes often allow for greater family involvement in the recovery process. Taking part in counselling sessions helps family members understand how they can best support their loved one’s recovery, and this plays a major role in the success of the rehab process.

Continuity of Care

Outpatient rehab provides continuity of care for patients who have completed an inpatient programme and wish to continue addiction counselling. By transitioning to outpatient therapy, they are maintaining the support and guidance of healthcare professionals.

Personal Responsibility and Independence

This type of treatment encourages personal responsibility and independence. Patients are required to manage their schedules and commit to their treatment plans while navigating their daily lives, which in turn will strengthen their self-reliance and determination to recover.
