Pre-Admission Screening
We run through a 20-minute questionnaire with all patients as part of our admissions process. This gives us more information about your mental health, your physical health, and your history.
We also request details of your medical history from your GP. If contacting your GP isn’t possible, we’ll help find another way to get the information we need.
Receiving pre-admission information
After your initial assessment, we’ll send you a pre-admission information pack. This covers the treatment process, what to expect, and how to prepare.
Our team will also help arrange your transport to the facility.
Communication with your doctor
We’ll send a letter to your GP to let them know you’re at Castle Craig for treatment. If additional medical information is needed, our Consultant Psychiatrist or another clinician may contact your GP directly.
