Jamie is a Recovery Worker at Castle Craig. He brings lived experience of recovery to his role, having overcome a lifelong struggle with addiction to alcohol. Seven and a half years ago, he entered a rehab programme and has remained free from alcohol and drugs ever since. Having seen first-hand how recovery can change a life, Jamie chose to build a career in the field, motivated by a deep commitment to supporting those who are still struggling. He believes that lasting change is possible for everyone, and draws on his own journey to offer empathy, understanding and hope to the people he works with.
