Coming to Castle Craig from Ireland
Castle Craig is located just 45 minutes by car from Edinburgh International Airport and is also easily accessible from Glasgow airports. Flights arrive several times a day from the following airports: Belfast International, Belfast City, Dublin, Cork, Shannon, Donegal, and Derry.
Available airlines include Aer Lingus, Ryanair, Easyjet, and Flybe. We can provide onward transport for patients arriving from the Republic of Ireland to Edinburgh or Glasgow airports.
Getting to Smarmore Castle, Ireland
Smarmore Castle is an hour’s drive north of Dublin 75 minutes from Belfast. We can arrange a driver to collect you from Dublin airport or train station.

Self-funded clients from the Republic of Ireland may qualify to claim tax relief on the cost of their health expenses at Smarmore Castle. These can be their own health expenses, those of a family member, or any individual’s, as long as they were paid for by the applicant claiming relief.
