Expert Treatment for Drug and Alcohol Addiction
Over 10,000 patients have passed through our rehab centre’s doors since 1988, and the majority have gone on to achieve long-term abstinent recovery from their addictions.
Our medical team of doctors, nurses and therapists are led by our Consultant Psychiatrists and Medical Director. We help our patients recover through an intensive, personalised addiction programme that combines medical treatment and a range of addiction therapies that include the 12 Step programme, CBT and other psychotherapies, complementary therapies, oxygen therapy, and continuing care.

We have developed a specialised, evidence-based residential treatment programme to target alcoholism. Drug Rehab
Our expert medical team has decades of experience in managing complex detoxification from addictive drugs such as cocaine, prescription drugs, opiates, and cannabis safely and with minimal discomfort. We deliver a comprehensive therapeutic drug addiction treatment programme, enabling you to break the cycle of addiction and live a drug-free life.

Our Responsibility
All of our treatment services are compliant with NICE Guidelines and we are regulated by Healthcare Improvement Scotland and inspected by Intertek ISO 9001. Our therapists are highly qualified and experienced in substance misuse therapy and a wide range of therapies and many are registered with BACP or COSCA or have other qualifications in psychotherapy and mental health. Many have recovered from addiction themselves. Medical treatment at Castle Craig is overseen by our Medical Director, Professor Jonathan Chick, MA (Cantab), MPhil, MBChB, DSc.
